Dr. Walter Fermin has a successful Family Chiropractic practice in San Marcos California. And found much of his success treating locals since 2015.  Dr. Walter accredits his chiropractic skills and talents from years of treating injured Athletes during his tenure in different clinics, primarily in the Orange County area.  His involvement with athletic care is further influenced through his association with the American College of Sports Medicine.

With his background steeped in sports chiropractic, translating his care to the general population is proving to have brilliant results.  Not only in rehabilitating injuries, but also in enhancing people’s wellbeing in whatever they do!  This is accomplished through chiropractic techniques and modalities including diversified adjustments, Thompson technique, nutritional and supplements advise, percussion therapies, physiotherapies, and low-level laser protocols.

Throughout his youth, Dr. Walter Fermin enjoyed athletic competition.  While participating in varied sports from Football, Hockey, Archery, Golf, Tennis, and many others, it was as a Track & Field Sprinter where he excelled and competed at a Collegiate Level.  Amid the stresses of competing at such an elite level, injuries were bound to happen, and Dr. Walter experienced several.  When he did seek care for these injuries, he found Chiropractic to be the most effective method to help him get back to peak athletic performance quickly.  This fueled his passion for this healing art, and to help athletes and people in all walks-of-life to achieve a healthy wellbeing.

Dr. Walter earned his undergraduate degree from San Diego State University, then completed his doctorate degree from SOUTHERN CALifornia University of Health Sciences.  While attaining his chiropractic degree at SCUHS he partook in associations that would help him acquire skills for practice. The Sports Injury Council of SOUTHERN CAL and The Graston Technique, just to name a few, set him on the path to utilize revolutionary treatments such as Low-Level Laser and percussion therapies.  Today Dr. Walter is associated with the American College of Sports Medicine.  He incorporates many modalities of therapy to help heal people.  He is a certified Rock Doc with RockTape Kinesio Taping, a Theragun high-speed percussion therapy Specialist, and skilled utilizing Laser therapies with the latest advancements through Erchonia Laser Devices.  He encompasses these therapies with chiropractic adjustments to achieve the goal of optimizing patient wellness and overall health.

Currently Dr. Walter enjoys spreading the benefits of chiropractic care via health fair events and conducting corporate healthy lunch & learns. He takes pleasure in teaching and sharing information on chiropractic, nutrition, exercise, and other methods of care that will lead to a healthy lifestyle.  His personal ambition is to touch people in a way that will lead them away from a state of dis-ease, and toward a path of ideal health.
